Great Commission Christians
Are not content to simply believe the Gospel and enjoy the personal benefits but...

TESTIMONY TO THE POWER OF PRAYER EVANGELISM
Our Prayer Station Evangelism Team in NYC has a long history of going to the streets to share the gospel and pray with people. They are out 2 to 3 times a week praying with people at a Prayer Station set up by the Brooklyn Supreme Court and City Hall. Watch Victor Flores testimony. He tried to avoid the Brooklyn Tabernacle Evangelism team who were handing out tracts and praying with people. God got a hold of him and he is a solid man of God today. The team did not have a prayer station to break the ice back then, but they understood seeking God at his throne of grace is the key to transformed lives. Watch this encouraging video I recorded on Sunday, Nov 15th next to our New Style Prayer Station. Lives are transformed when Christians hand out tracts and pray with the lost on the street.
MISSION HOUSE GETS NEW ROOF IN 13 HOURS
10 Christian Men came to our Ministry Headquarters in Brooklyn NY to tear off 3 layers of shingles on the roof of the Mission House and repair the Garage roof. Thirteen hours of labor later the old shingles were in a 20 yard dumpster and the new roofs were on. Watch the 10 minute video above to see what God can get accomplished through men who are dedicated to serve. These men drove 250 miles to donate their labor to this needed project. Our landlord credited our ministry with many thousands of dollars of labor toward the rent.
Evangelism, Discipleship and Church Planting!
Jesus modeled to his disciples how to obey the great commission. He proclaimed the gospel to the public, and then discipled those who seriously responded in small group settings. The apostles replicated this in their ministry. All the first century Christians understood this methodology and followed it. The church at Ephesus was not a church building, it was all the Christians in the area of Ephesus. In Acts 20:20 the Apostle Paul reminds the Elders from Ephesus what he did as a wise master builder to establish Christ's church: "I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publicly, and from house to house." Paul's method was the same as Christs: He proclaimed the truth to the public and discipled those who responded in house church settings.
You don't need a big budget, a large expensive church building and a professional staff to impact your community! You can be an effective public witness and easily disciple people in your home. If you are a Pastor, don't try to do everything yourself. Get your people involved discipling others in home cell meetings.

2000 years ago the first Christians went everywhere proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ. They made great sacrifices and experienced the power of the Holy Spirit working thru them. Lives were changed as God's grace was poured out and people became followers of Jesus Christ. Those early Christians are gone . . . they "fought a good fight and kept the faith."
It is the responsibility of all the Christians alive today to reach all the lost souls alive today.
There are more people alive on Earth today than at any time in history. We must be about the Masters business: "To seek and to save that which is lost." God commands us to SEEK FIRST His Kingdom and His Righteousness. We must obey Christ's Great Commission . . . it is our top priority . . . by God's grace we can!
